Sandy Munro

Sandy Munro has extensive work experience in pharmaceutical development, particularly in the field of respiratory development. They have held various leadership positions at different companies, including Vectura Group plc., Vectura Ltd, and GlaxoSmithKline. At Vectura Group plc., they served as the Senior Vice President of Pharmaceutical Development and previously as the Vice President. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the same company. At Vectura Ltd, they held the role of Director of Respiratory Development. At Vectura, they were also the Director of Respiratory Development. Before joining Vectura, they worked at GlaxoSmithKline as the Director of Inhaled Science and Technology and the Director of MDI Science.

Sandy Munro obtained a BSc (Hons) degree in Chemistry from The University of Edinburgh from 1980 to 1984. Subsequently, from 1984 to 1987, they pursued a PhD in Synthetic organic Chemistry at the University of East Anglia.
