Alexander Yoakum

Alexander Yoakum is a Global Transportation Finance Paralegal and Project Assistant at Vedder Price since July 2022. With extensive experience in debate instruction, Alexander has served as a Senior Instructor for the National Symposium for Debate since June 2015 and held a similar role at NSD Texas from July 2016 to July 2022, where curriculum development and staff professional growth were key responsibilities. As Director of Debate at The Woodlands High School from August 2020 to July 2022, Alexander directed a nationally competitive debate team, managed budgets, communicated with families, and created individualized student action plans. Previous experience includes hosting at Whiskey Bird and instructing at Victory Briefs. Alexander holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Emory University, earned in May 2020.
