John Pieper

John Pieper is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in project management, manufacturing, and process engineering. Currently serving as Director of Project Engineering at Veeco since March 2010, John oversees a team of six project engineers across three locations, managing projects that generate over $250 million in annual revenue. Prior roles at Veeco include Sr. Manager of Project Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering Manager, where John contributed significantly to product lifecycle management. Additionally, John has experience as an Account Manager at P&R Fasteners and held various engineering and managerial positions at Alcoa Howmet, where responsibilities included managing production teams and designing investment-casting processes for aerospace components. John holds an MBA in Finance from Seton Hall University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
