Patrick Whelan

Patrick Whelan is an experienced professional in the field of engineering and marketing, currently serving as the Regional Marketing Manager at Veeco since August 2015. In this role, Patrick specializes in Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE), interfacing with corporate sales staff and managing customer interactions, system configurations, and pricing negotiations, as well as quoting the entire MBE system portfolio. Prior to this, Patrick held the position of Regional Marketing Engineer at Veeco, where similar responsibilities were undertaken. Patrick's earlier experience includes serving as an Industrial and Corporate Safety Engineer at HTI from June 2012 to August 2015, focusing on optimal staffing and production effectiveness, and internships at CenterPoint Energy and Honeywell, where contributions were made to gas pipeline management and energy savings initiatives, respectively. Patrick holds a Master of Science in Management of Technology from the Technological Leadership Institute at the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from North Dakota State University.
