Aabid Mohamed has extensive work experience in various customer-focused roles. Aabid currently works at VEERUM as a Client Experience (CX) Leader, where they design and implements CX strategies to acquire, convert, and retain customers. Aabid collaborates with different teams to improve customer relationships and satisfaction. In addition, they train internal customer-facing positions and performs direct customer training.
Before joining VEERUM, Aabid worked at QuirkLogic Inc. as a Customer Success & Training specialist, where they played a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and providing training. Prior to that, they served as a Customer & Stakeholder Relations Advisor at ENMAX, supporting ongoing customer relations and managing project inquiries.
Aabid also gained experience in emergency management at the City of Calgary, where they worked as an Administration Analyst in Wood Buffalo, assisting in disaster recovery efforts. During their tenure at IHS Markit | Energy, Aabid held various positions, including Training Manager, Senior Customer Solution Advisor, and Customer Solution Advisor. Aabid managed teams, developed strong relationships with clients, and provided technical support for software in the oil and gas industry.
Earlier in their career, Aabid worked at EPCOR as a Support Team Analyst, providing technical support and managing escalated calls, and as a Customer Service Consultant, handling residential and commercial inquiries. Aabid also gained experience at the Calgary Police Service, where they provided technical support to a large user base and assisted in solving computer problems.
Aabid Mohamed started their education by completing a Bachelor's degree in General Studies from Athabasca University, which they pursued from 2021 to 2024. Prior to that, in 2009 to 2010, they attended the University of Calgary to study Professional Business Management and earned a degree in Management. In 2008, Aabid obtained a certificate in Practical Product Management with Requirements from Pragmatic Marketing. Between 2007 and 2008, they studied Petroleum Geological Applications at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). Aabid began their educational journey in 1999 at Mount Royal University, where they completed a Business degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General, which lasted until 2003. Lastly, from 1993 to 1997, they pursued Criminology at Mount Royal University, specializing in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration.
