Diego Ordóñez Blanco

Diego Ordóñez Blanco is an accomplished director with extensive experience in engineering and data management across various sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering OpenData Commercial at Veeva Systems, Diego leads recruitment efforts, develops global data tools, and utilizes AWS technologies to enhance data infrastructure. Previously, as Principal Data Engineer at Inditex, Diego oversaw the architecture of a Near Real Time Data Warehouse and implemented analytical solutions for logistical optimization. Experience also includes a role as Software Engineering Director at Sophia Genetics, where Diego refactored data processing pipelines, and earlier positions managing data processing for the Gaia mission at the European Space Agency. Diego holds an Executive MBA from the University of Geneva and has a background in Computer Science from the Universidad de la Coruña.
