Liz Leer

Liz Leer currently serves as the School Principal at Vega Collegiate Academy, where staff retention exceeds 90% and a focus on coaching and improvement is aimed at enhancing student success. Previous roles include interim Middle Academy Principal and Director of Operations, High School English Teacher and Literacy Coach at Freire Schools, and various teaching and leadership positions at Mastery Charter Schools and Success Academy Charter Schools. Liz's experience encompasses team leadership, data-driven academic coaching, and athletic coordination. Liz holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Public Communication from American University and a Master of Education in Special Education from Touro University.
