Andrew Gilkerson

Andrew Gilkerson has a diverse work experience, starting as a Cashier at Festival Foods in 2014. Andrew then worked as a Business Intelligence Analyst Intern at Security Health Plan, where they pulled data for various projects and collaborated with company leaders on visualizations and potential revenue streams. Andrew further enhanced their skills as a Technical Analyst Intern at Thrivent, where they supported Agile Transformation efforts and established metrics for product delivery.

In 2019, Andrew joined Dunn Solutions Group as an Analytics Consultant, where they provided analytical expertise to clients. Andrew then moved on to 2nd Watch in 2021, working as an Analytics Engineer and contributing to data analysis and engineering projects. Currently, they are a Senior Data Engineer at Vega Cloud since 2022, utilizing their expertise to ensure effective data management and engineering solutions.

Andrew Gilkerson completed their education at the University of Minnesota from 2016 to 2019, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, they graduated from Marshfield High School in 2016 with a High School Diploma. In addition to their formal education, Andrew obtained several certifications, including the Cloud Analytics Master from the Cloud Analytics Academy in June 2019, the FOCP: FinOps Certified Practitioner from The Linux Foundation in November 2022, and the SnowPro Core Certification from Snowflake in August 2020.
