Joseph Goncalves

Joseph Goncalves has worked in a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2012. Joseph began their career as a Contract Organic Search Engine Optimization Developer for Plexiglass NY + Agnew & Taylor in 2012. Joseph then moved to The Chamber of the Greater Ronkonkomas as a Contract Full-Stack Web Developer in the same year. In 2013, they worked as a Web Developer for Prestige Employee Administrators and a Contract PHP Developer for My Craft Tools. Joseph then became a Contract Web Developer for 631 On Point in 2014. Joseph is currently employed at Broadridge Financial Solutions as an Associate Programmer Analyst, where they have developed UI for emerging products using Angular 2 and improved the presentation layer of legacy applications within .Net MVC solutions and Java Spring MVC projects. Joseph also writes unit tests for code coverage of Angular2 components using Jasmine framework and Karma test runner. In 2019, they joined IntelliShift - a division of VTS as a Software Developer.

Joseph Goncalves obtained their B.S. in Biochemistry from Stony Brook University in May 2005, followed by a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the same institution in 2012.
