Jaap Donker

Jaap Donker is an experienced leader in public health and human resources management, currently serving as Algemeen directeur at Veiligheidsregio Utrecht since November 2021. Prior to this role, Jaap held the position of Directeur Publieke Gezondheid at GGD regio Utrecht from April 2017 to November 2021, where responsibilities included overseeing public health initiatives and leading a temporary COVID-19 response division. With a strong background in HR and organizational development, Jaap has also held various management and advisory roles across multiple organizations, including NCOD and local municipalities, focusing on strategic personnel planning, HRM development, and project leadership.
