Jimmy Whalen

Jimmy Whalen has extensive work experience in executive roles at notable technology companies. From 2019 to the present, they served as the CEO of Velasea, a full-service OEM distributor specializing in physical security, retail analytics, computer vision, and artificial intelligence (AI). As President of Velasea from 2019 to 2020, Whalen excelled in handling complex integrations and provided solutions in challenging environments such as casinos, prisons, schools, and government facilities. Prior to their role at Velasea, Whalen held various positions at Arbitech, LLC from 2000 to the present. Jimmy served as CEO and President, leading the company to become the nation's leading independent IT distributor. Whalen's expertise in server, storage, networking, mobility, telephony, and point-of-sale products enabled Arbitech to offer cost-effective solutions and gain significant growth. Their roles at Arbitech also included Executive Vice President from 2012 to 2020 and Vice President of Business Initiatives from 2000 to 2012.

Jimmy Whalen completed their high school education at Holy Ghost Preparatory School from 1991 to 1995. Jimmy then attended American University from 1995 to 1999, earning a Bachelor's degree in Economics. Later, from 2002 to 2005, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at USC Marshall School of Business.
