Damir Hajrovic

Damir Hajrovic is currently a CIP Cybersecurity Engineer at Vermont Electric Power Company (VELCO) since February 2023. Previously, Damir served as a Security Analyst Intern at Google’s Mandiant division, where responsibilities included alert triage and monitoring. At The Leahy Center, Damir held several roles, culminating as Lead Security Engineer, overseeing a team focused on security infrastructure and DevOps projects. Additional experience includes managing IT and Security operations as Managed Services Supervisor and training staff as Security Operations Center Tier One and Intern Supervisor. Prior internships at Mandiant involved real-time alert triage and threat analysis. Damir holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Networking and Cybersecurity from Champlain College.
