Aleksandr Pergushev

Aleksandr Pergushev is an experienced tax consultant currently serving as Head of Tax at Veles Capital since December 2016, providing expert advice to shareholders and high-net-worth individuals on complex tax structuring and compliance matters. Prior to this role, Aleksandr was a Senior Consultant in the Tax and Legal Department at KPMG Russia, advising international and Russian companies on various tax-related issues. Earlier positions include Tax Expert at Sapsan, Deputy Head of the Department at Synergy University, and Head of the Tax and Accounting Department at Law Company "Partner." Aleksandr began a career in taxation at the Federal Tax Service of Russia, gaining foundational expertise as a State Tax Inspector. Educational qualifications include a degree in Financial Management from Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics and further training in Tax Administration from the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.
