Drew Bolton

Drew Bolton has extensive experience as a mechanical engineer, with their most recent role being as the Lead Mechanical Engineer at VELO3D since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Thermal Technology, LLC for nearly nine years as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. In their role at Thermal Technology, Drew was responsible for designing and analyzing high temperature furnaces and crystal growers. Their work included thermal analysis, fluid analysis, and structural analysis, often utilizing AutoDesk Simulation software for FEA and design optimization.

Drew Bolton obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Chico, graduating between the years 2006 to 2012.
