Lori Morris

Lori Morris is currently the VP of Human Resources at Velocity medtech, a role they have held since April 2023. Prior to this, they were the Human Resources Director at the same company from September 2022 to April 2023, and before that, they served as the Human Resources Manager from November 2020 to September 2022.

Prior to that, Morris was the Owner/Director of Divine Yoga Center from April 2002 to July 2004. Lori was responsible for overseeing daily operations, developing exercise programs, and maintaining a positive and safe environment for students.

From January 2000 to September 2002, Morris worked at Coldwell Banker Bain as Lead Office Staff (HR)/Technology Support/Listing & Marketing Coordinator. Lori managed administrative and HR tasks, provided technical support, and implemented marketing programs.

Lori Morris, SHRM-CP, holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Human Resources Management from LSU Shreveport, which they obtained from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business, Human Resources Management from Western Governors University, completing their studies from 2013 to 2018. Lori also studied Business Administration with a focus on Management Information Systems at Washington State University - College of Business and Economics from 2008 to 2011. In 1998, they received a diploma in Regular/General High School/Secondary Diploma Program from Everett Community College. Additionally, Lori has acquired additional certifications such as the White Belt Certification from the Six Sigma Global Institute in 2020, the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) in February 2020 from SHRM, and the Permaculture Design Certificate from Bullock's Permaculture Homestead in 2013.
