Tony Friar

Tony Friar is an experienced technology leader with a strong focus on telecommunications and voice communications security. As the CTO and Chief Architect at Velona Systems since July 2016, Tony has been instrumental in developing scalable cloud-based VoIP security and fraud prevention solutions for enterprises and telecom service providers. In addition, as the Owner and Technical Director of New Kinetics Ltd since April 2000, Tony specializes in VoIP and telecommunications solutions design. Tony co-founded Talking Sense Networks BVBA in September 2010, serving as CTO and overseeing core network engineering and customer solutions. Previous roles include Senior Manager of Network Architecture for Voice & Data at Esprit Telecom/GTS and Technical Support Engineer at Mitel Telecom, showcasing a diverse background in telecommunications technology and network architecture.
