Colin Chew

Colin Chew serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Velos IoT since February 2024, focusing on strategic formulation and organizational transformation for profitability. Prior to this role, Colin was the Vice President of Business Management EMEA at Semtech from January 2023 to January 2024, overseeing the integration of teams post-acquisition and managing the EMEA P&L. Colin's extensive experience includes a tenure at Sierra Wireless, where roles spanned from Vice President of Sales for APAC & EMEA to Senior Sales Director, achieving significant revenue growth and playing a key role in strategic acquisitions. Earlier positions include Marketing Director at Wavecom Asia Pacific and roles at Memec Asia Pacific and IBM, with a solid foundation in Electrical Engineering from UNSW, complemented by early engineering experience at Agere Systems Inc.
