Catherine Hermans

Catherine Hermans is an experienced Application Engineer currently employed at Velsera since January 2023, following a previous role in the same position at UgenTec from May 2022 to January 2023. Prior to this, Catherine worked at Medtronic from December 2018 to May 2022, serving as a Technical Services Specialist and an Associate Technical Services Specialist. Academic work includes a Master Thesis at KU Leuven from February to September 2018, focusing on the Biomechanical Evaluation of Aortic Motion in Aneurysmatic Aorta, and another Master Thesis at ZOL from November 2014 to June 2015, which investigated Mobile Health Units. Catherine also completed a summer internship at FibriCheck in 2017, specializing in Signal Analysis.
