Kevin Roovers

Kevin Roovers is a Senior Software Engineer at Velsera since January 2023, focusing on enhancing precision medicine through innovative technology in healthcare and life sciences. Prior to joining Velsera, Kevin worked as a Software Engineer at UgenTec from September 2015 to January 2023, specializing in diagnostics software for DNA interpretation. Earlier experience includes a Master Thesis at MOBILAB & AdvISe - KU Leuven, where motion tracking using MARG-sensors was researched, and a project with Vision-Airy, recognized with the VLAJO prize for an innovative UAV industrial measuring instrument. Kevin holds a Master of Science in Industrial Sciences, Electronics/ICT - Biomedical Technology from KU Leuven and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics/ICT from Katholieke Hogeschool Kempen.
