X'Avia Chan

X'avia Chan, PhD, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the biotech and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Engagement Manager at Velsera since February 2020, X'avia builds relationships with over 20 major pharmaceutical and biotech clients, focusing on their Customer-Based Insights (CBIs) and Real World Evidence (RWE) needs. Prior to this role, X'avia was a Senior Clinical Associate at the Stanford Cancer Institute, collaborating with oncologists on multiple clinical trials. X'avia's academic foundation includes a PhD in Biology/Chemistry from York University and a BSc in Biotechnology from The University of Hong Kong, alongside postdoctoral fellowships at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, where X'avia contributed to significant research initiatives in diabetes and heart failure.
