Makis Tsigeridis

Makis Tsigeridis has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and systems engineering. Makis started their career in 2000 as a Web and Application Developer at the Greek National Tourism Organism (GNTO), where they worked on web development projects using JSP and Oracle 8.17 for the enrichment of the GNTO WEB portal. Makis also developed a user-friendly application using Visual Basic 6. Makis then joined the Greek Ministry of Culture in 2001 as a Web and Application Developer, where they again utilized their skills in web development and Visual Basic 6 to enhance the WEB portal and create user-friendly applications. In 2003, Makis joined Velti as a Senior Manager, Systems Engineering. Their main responsibilities included providing customer support services, managing Level2 Support Teams, and handling 24x7 emergency situations. In February 2019, they were promoted to the role of Director, Systems Engineering, Technology - IT, where they continued to excel in their leadership role.

Makis Tsigeridis obtained a Master's Degree from the University of Patras's Polytechnic School of Computer Engineering and Informatics Department between 1995 and 2002. Prior to that, from 1990 to 1993, they attended the 1st Lyceum of Agia Paraskevi Attika, although the degree name and field of study are not specified. In terms of additional certifications, Makis obtained several qualifications including SOC Level 1 from TryHackMe in February 2023, a certification in Apache Kafka Programming from ΕΠΤΑ - ΚΕΔΙΒΙΜ Παν. Αιγαίου in August 2022, and Jr Penetration Tester certification from TryHackMe in December 2021. Makis also completed the CompTIA Pentest+ Learning Path and Cyber Defense Learning Path from TryHackMe in May 2021. Additionally, they hold a certification in Installing, Configuring, and Administering Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition with specific details regarding the institution, month, and year of obtaining the certificate unknown.
