Lewis Henderson Beng Ceng Miet (Hons)

Lewis Henderson has a diverse work experience in the field of electrical engineering. Lewis started their career at SPIE Oil & Gas Services in 2013, where they worked as part of the Electrical team on a FPSO. Their responsibilities included installing cables, cable management systems, fire safety, and emergency equipment.

In 2017, Lewis joined Perenco as a Graduate Electrical Engineer, where they successfully delivered various projects such as UPS upgrades and lighting upgrades. Lewis also had the responsibility of preparing, planning, reviewing, and monitoring assigned engineering projects while working with vendors. Lewis was also responsible for delegating work to teams of different disciplines.

Lewis progressed to the role of Electrical Engineer at Perenco, where they supported the day-to-day running of manned hubs and unmanned installations. Lewis ensured compliance with regulations and standards while addressing daily issues requiring engineering assistance. Lewis also implemented smaller scale projects such as power system studies, generation, and distribution modifications.

Lewis's most recent experience is with Venator Materials Plc, where they served as a Lead Electrical Engineer and, more recently, as a Responsible Electrical Engineer. In these roles, they managed a team of Electrical Engineers and Specialist Electrical Technicians. Lewis also managed the sites' HV/LV maintenance and operations strategy, ensuring equipment safety and reliability. Additionally, Lewis led FEED studies and acted as a project Electrical Engineer on electrical CAPEX projects. Lewis also conducted international audits of electrical systems for global sites.

Lewis Henderson earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree with 1st Class Honours in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Teesside University between the years 2013 and 2017.
