James Collett has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. James is currently working as the Head of People at Venatus since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an HR and Recruitment Consultant from September 2019 to April 2021. James also served as a Volunteer Enterprise Adviser at Talentino! Ltd from November 2020 to February 2021. In 2020, they held the position of Head of Operations at Evolution Fitness Studio throughout the year. In 2019, they briefly worked as a People and Talent Manager at eSynergy Solutions from March to June. From 2013 to 2019, they worked at Pearson, where they held various roles, including Recruitment and HR Operations Manager from August 2016 to March 2019, Operations Manager from July 2014 to August 2016, and Event Manager from May 2013 to July 2014. Prior to that, they worked as an Event Operations Manager at CleanEvent Services Ltd from January 2012 to May 2013, and as an Event Manager at Leisure Support Services from June 2009 to October 2011.

James Collett Assoc CIPD completed the Level 5 Diploma in Human Resource Management from CIPD Qualifications in the years 2020 to 2021. Prior to this, they attended Solent University from 2006 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management and Water Sports Studies. Before their university education, they studied A-Levels at Chesterfield College from 2002 to 2005, focusing on Biology, ICT, and Sport Studies. James Collett Assoc CIPD completed their GCSEs at Hasland Hall Community School between 1997 and 2002, covering subjects such as English Language, English Literature, Double Award Science, and Maths.
