Rita Ebeh has a diverse work experience in the field of credit risk and banking. Starting in 2012, they worked as an Administrative Officer at the National Institute of Hospitality and Tourism, where they focused on improving customer experience and ensuring compliance with banking policies. In 2016, they joined Union Bank of Nigeria as an Account Maintenance Officer before transitioning to the role of Credit Underwriter. As a Credit Underwriter, Rita evaluated borrowers' financial information, verified loan applications, and investigated potential fraud. Rita then became a Credit Analyst, where they assessed retail and commercial loans using credit-scoring systems and excel templates. At Vendease (YC W21), starting in 2021, Rita held multiple roles including Senior Credit Risk Officer and Credit Risk Associate. In these positions, they were responsible for building the credit system, developing risk mitigation strategies, and reviewing credit proposals.

Rita Ebeh obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Ebonyi State University, completing their studies from 2007 to 2011. Rita then pursued a Master's degree in Finance and Financial Management Services at the University of Lagos from 2020 to 2023. Additionally, they obtained various certifications, including Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria in 2023, Commercial Banking & Credit Analyst CBCA and Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA) from Corporate Finance Institute® in 2022, and certifications in Agile, Artificial Intelligence, Banking and Financial Markets Industry, and Data Science & Analytics Intro from IBM in 2021. Rita also completed the course "Raising Capital: Credit Tech, Coin Offerings, and Crowdfunding" from the University of Michigan in 2021 and "Design Thinking for Innovation" from the University of Virginia in 2020. In 2013, they obtained the ASM certification from the Institute of Strategic Management, and in 2018, they completed the "WOW SERVICE EXPERIENCE (Customer Service) TRAINING" from LYD CONSULTING LIMITED.
