Michael Smith, MBA, CSS has a wealth of experience in the retail and business sectors. Michael began their career in 2005 as an Electrical Engineering Intern for Entergy. In 2007, they held the position of Strategic Pricing Corporate Intern for Sam's Club, where they completed LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt Training and analyzed data from Retail Link and the Competition Data System. That same year, they also held the position of TA at the University of Arkansas and SVP Strategy for Protrom Medical. In 2008, they were a Strategic Sourcing Specialist for ConocoPhillips, and from 2009 to 2014, they held various roles at The NPD Group, including Walmart Strategic Business Unit Partner - Entertainment Director, Walmart Strategic Business Unit Partner - Hardlines, and Account Manager. From 2014 to 2017, they were a Customer Marketing Manager, Channel Strategy and Ecommerce Lead, National Account Manager, and Category Development Manager - Sams Club at Bacardi. In 2017, they became the Director - Ecommerce Natonal Account Manager at L’Oréal. In 2021, they held the roles of Vice President of Walmart.com Omnichannel and Omnichannel Team Lead for both VENDO and Team Direct Management LLC.

Michael Smith holds an MBA in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the University of Arkansas, which they obtained in 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a BS in Electrical Engineering from the same university, which they completed in 2006.
