Demetrius Jifunza is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and community service. Since April 2020, Demetrius has been a member of The National Society of Leadership and Success, focusing on executive and advanced leadership. Concurrently, Demetrius serves as the pastor of Mt. Olive CME Church since August 2016 and holds a board member position with the Sarasota Ministerial Association. With a commitment to public health and civil rights, Demetrius has been vice chairman of CAN Community Health and vice president of the NAACP since 2015. Past roles include paralegal at Vengroff Williams & Associates and chapter president of the Florida Rights Restoration Coalition. Demetrius's educational background includes a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from National Louis University and a Bachelor's degree in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University, along with an Associate's degree in Legal Assistant/Paralegal from Keiser University. Demetrius is also engaged in ongoing theological education at The Academy For Public Theology.
