Andre Biscaya

Andre Biscaya is an experienced engineering professional specializing in structural and bridge engineering, currently serving as an Innovation R&D Engineer at Nadara since April 2022, where responsibilities include leading the technical aspects of innovative research and development projects. Andre is also a Proxy Member of TWG 8.3/WG5 EN 1993-1-5: Steel Plated Structures for ECCS since September 2019. Previous roles include Senior Engineering Project Manager at GRID International Consulting Engineers and Senior Structural & Bridge Engineering Consultant at CERIS, alongside other positions focused on bridge design and structural engineering. Academically, Andre holds a PhD in Structural and Bridge Engineering and an MSc in Structural Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, complemented by earlier education in science from Colégio de Santa Doroteia.
