Scott Quirarte is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in emergency services, currently serving as Assistant Chief of the Administrative Services Bureau at the Ventura County Fire Department. With a career that began in November 1988, Scott has held various leadership positions, including Battalion Chief and Fire Captain, overseeing emergency operations and hazardous materials management. In addition, Scott is a Project Lead for the Ventura County Inter-agency Active Shooter Task Force and has held roles on the Board of Directors and as Treasurer for the International Public Safety Association. Scott's expertise extends to training and curriculum development, having worked with organizations such as FEMA, the National Domestic Preparedness Coalition, and California Emergency Response Technologies Inc. Scott holds a Master Exercise Practitioner certification from the Emergency Management Institute.
