Hooman Hakim has extensive work experience in supply chain management and operations. Hooman currently holds the position of Senior Vice President of Supply Chain at Ventura Foods since September 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Univar from 2016 to 2019, where they held multiple roles including Vice President of Supply Chain Planning & Optimization and Vice President, Transportation & Supply Chain. Before that, they worked at Univar from 2011 to 2016, serving as the Director of Supply & Demand Planning - USA and Regional Planning Manager. Hooman also has experience with ExxonMobil, where they held various positions from 2001 to 2011, including Process Section Supervisor, Coordination & Economics Section Supervisor, Energy Section Supervisor, Refinery Operations Coordinator / Refinery Economist, and Process Engineer. Hooman began their career as an Engineering Intern at Anheuser-Busch in 2000 and as a Quality Validation Intern at Baxter in the same year.
Hooman Hakim obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from UCLA from 1998 to 2001. Hooman then pursued a Master of Science degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering from the University of Southern California, completing it from 2001 to 2004.
