Alberto Wirz

Alberto Wirz has a diverse work experience in the travel and hospitality industry. Alberto started their career as a Social Staff/International Host at Silversea Cruises in 2007. Later, they worked as a Corporate Trainer at Swisscontact Worldwide, where they developed tourism products and provided training on international tourism quality standards.

In 2009, Alberto worked as a Corporate Trainer at Quantic Development, coaching and training customer service personnel and giving talks to airline personnel on customer service. Alberto also had a brief role as a TV host at Neo Consulting - Consultora de Innovación y Estrategia Digital.

In 2010, Alberto briefly worked as a TV host at National Geographic Partners. This was followed by their role as the General Manager, PR & Guest Experiences Developer at JINPERU from 2011 to 2017. Alberto founded the company to develop luxury travel programs that focus on cultural rapprochement between Peru and China.

From 2018 to 2020, Alberto worked at Aracari Travel, starting as a Travel Designer and later transitioning into the role of Product Development, PR & VIP Guest Experience Specialist. Alberto was responsible for designing luxury travel itineraries, developing innovative luxury products, and storytelling for the company.

In 2021, Alberto joined Terra Explorer Peru as a Luxury Travel Designer & PR. Alberto increased company revenue through powerful storytelling when designing and selling new travel products. Alberto also connected the brand with international buyers and luxury travel fairs.

Currently, Alberto is working at Ventura TRAVEL as a Tour Guide Operations Manager, starting in 2023.

Alberto Wirz has a Bachelor's degree in Business/Corporate Communications from Universidad de Lima, which they obtained between 1996 and 2002. In 2012, they pursued an Associate's degree in Chinese Culture at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. Additionally, in the same year, they studied Tourism and Travel Services Marketing Operations at Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. In 1999, Alberto received an Advanced Level certification in English Language and Literature from international house. Alberto also completed an Associate of Arts (A.A.) program in Theatre/Theater at Taller de Teatro de la Universidad de Lima between 2000 and 2002. At Universidad tecnologica de la selva, they obtained a Diploma in Tourism and Travel Services Management, although the specific years are not provided. Alberto was also involved in the theatre community, participating in the Club de Teatro de Lima. Furthermore, they obtained a Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) from Asociacion Cultural Peruano Britanica (Britanico) between 1998 and 2000. In terms of additional certifications, Alberto obtained a CERTIFICATE OF PROFICIENCY IN ENGLISH (CPE) from the University of Cambridge in January 2020. Furthermore, in March 2014, they received the CHINESE Tourist Welcome QUALITY host certification from China Outbound Tourism Research Institute (COTRI).
