Jocelyn Brossia

Jocelyn Brossia has a diverse professional background in education, hospitality, and publishing. Currently serving as an Educator for Ventura Unified School District since November 2023, Jocelyn has also taken on roles as a Bartender at Good Lion Hospitality and an Oyster Bartender at Lure Fish House. Prior experience includes positions at UC San Diego, where Jocelyn excelled as Lead Scheduler, Facility Supervisor, and Recreation Experience Assistant from April 2021 to September 2023. As Editor-in-Chief of the UCSD Guardian Newspaper, management of 140 staff and the publication of a weekly student-run newspaper was successfully achieved. Additional roles included Student Health Advocate leading workshops on health, Teaching Assistant at the Environmental Studies Department, and various positions in hospitality and administration. Jocelyn holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Health and Sociology with an Environmental Studies minor from UC San Diego.
