Vidula Walimbe

Vidula Walimbe, Ph.D., RTTP, has extensive experience in innovation management and technology transfer, currently serving as Associate Manager at Venture Center in Pune since February 2015. In this role, Vidula is involved in developing technology transfer services for R&D and academic institutions under the TechEx initiative supported by the Government of India. Previously, Vidula contributed to the Tech Commercialization team at NCL Research Foundation, where interactions with CSIR-NCL scientists led to the creation of a Technology Attractiveness Assessment Document. Earlier positions include IP Associate at Venture Center, where Vidula focused on marketing Intellectual Property services and organizing training programs, and Executive IPR at Ajanta Pharma, analyzing patents to inform decisions on generic drug introductions. Additionally, Vidula has experience as a Senior Research Fellow at CSIR-URDIP, specializing in patent analytics and competitor analysis. Vidula holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Law from Symbiosis International University.
