Derek Shanton has extensive work experience in the construction industry. Derek started their career in 2009 as the owner of Meridian Construction Group. In this role, they managed various construction projects. In 2017, Derek joined Venture Construction Group of Florida, Inc. as the Director of Customer Relations. Derek is currently in this position, where they oversee customer relations and ensures customer satisfaction.
Derek Shanton completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Radford University from 1991 to 1995. Following this, they pursued their Master's degree in Educational Counseling from George Mason University, which they obtained from 1997 to 2000. In addition to their formal education, in 2017 Derek Shanton obtained a certification as a Haag Engineering Residential Inspector from Haag Engineering.
