Andreas Waldmann

Andreas Waldmann is a seasoned aerospace engineer and co-founder of Ventus Technologies GmbH since January 2022. With a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Stuttgart, their experience includes serving as a postdoctoral researcher from July 2020 to July 2023, where Andreas coordinated computational and experimental research activities and focused on data-driven CFD flow field analysis. Previous roles include development engineer at TWT GmbH, research assistant at the University of Stuttgart, research engineer at DLR's Institute of Combustion Technology, and completing a diploma thesis on aerodynamic optimization at Eurocopter. Research interests encompass scale-resolving simulation of massively separated flows and data analysis of large-scale datasets.
