Hannah McCallum has worked in the aerospace industry since 2011. Hannah began their career as a Peer Learning Assistant at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2011. In 2012, they interned at Pratt & Whitney as an Aerodynamics Intern and at NASA as a Propulsion Systems Research Assistant in 2013. In 2014, they joined Virgin Galactic as a Propulsion Engineer, where they designed first and second stage components. Hannah then moved to Virgin Orbit in 2017 as a Sr. Launch Engineer and Propulsion Engineer, where they designed and analyzed DMLS 3D printed impinging injectors and optimized second stage gas generator design using ANSYS. In 2021, they joined Venus Aerospace as a Sr. Propulsion Engineer.
Hannah McCallum attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering.
