Grégoire Vauché has extensive experience in the field of sustainable materials and plastic waste reduction. Grégoire is currently working as a Formulation and Process Engineer at VEnvirotech Biotechnology, where they have established an in-house laboratory for bioplastic formulation and developed novel fillers for polymer formulations using waste sources like brewers' spent-grain fibers, eggshells, oyster shells, and potato pulp.
Prior to this, Grégoire served as the CTO and Head of R&D at Oimo, an eco-design startup focused on creating sustainable materials to reduce plastic waste in the ocean. Grégoire played a crucial role in pioneering the growth and success of the company.
Grégoire also worked at CABKA, a German multinational specializing in sustainable plastic pallets and storage solutions. Grégoire served as a Material Development Engineer at the Cabka Innovation Center in Valencia, where they built an internal testing laboratory and developed production-ready material formulas. Grégoire also held the role of Materials Development Engineer at the Cabka Head Office, contributing to the production process while identifying new business opportunities and optimizing material blend formulations.
Earlier in their career, Grégoire worked as a Graduate Intern at the Microcellular Plastic Manufacturing Laboratory (MPML), where they studied the foaming behavior of Poly Lactic Acid (PLA) and cellulose nanofibers nanocomposites. Grégoire also conducted research and optimization of materials as a Graduate Intern at Stockholms universitet and as an Intern at Laboratoire GEPEA.
Grégoire's journey in the field started as a Technician at Sercel, where they performed research on encapsulation materials and conducted mechanical tests on resins. Grégoire later worked as an Intern at Sercel, specializing in characterizing materials and researching potential encapsulation resins.
Overall, Grégoire Vauché has a strong background in sustainable materials development, waste reduction, and laboratory research, making significant contributions to various organizations in the field.
Grégoire Vauché's education history begins in 2010 when they enrolled at Nantes Université and obtained a Two-Year Diploma of Technology (Diplôme Universitaire de Technologie (DUT)) in Science and Engineering of Materials. In 2012, they continued their studies at the University of South Brittany, specializing in polymers and composites science and engineering, and earned a License of Physics and Chemistry. Grégoire then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Eco-Design of Polymers and Composites at the University of South Brittany from 2013 to 2015.
