Max Schuman

Max Schuman has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. Max began their career as a Sports Writer for The Daily Northwestern, where they wrote over 100 stories covering a wide range of Northwestern sports teams. Max also served as the Digital Managing Editor and Sports Editor, overseeing multimedia efforts and leading a team of sportswriters.

Max then transitioned into the field of data science, working at Civis Analytics as an Applied Data Scientist. Max held multiple roles within the company, starting as an Applied Data Scientist and eventually progressing to Senior Applied Data Scientist and Staff Applied Data Scientist. During this time, they worked on various data analytics projects.

Max also gained experience as a Software Engineering Intern at Esri, where they worked on the Implementation Services team, assisting with full-stack development and building API solutions for clients in the Professional Services division.

Max'smost recent position is as a Senior Data Scientist at Veo, where they are currently employed.

Max Schuman attended Seminole High School from 2010 to 2014, where they received their high school diploma. Max then went on to Northwestern University from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
