Kristi Dueñas

Kristi Dueñas has extensive work experience in emergency management and preparedness. Kristi currently works at Veoci as a Customer Success Manager, where they utilize Veoci's software to help organizations navigate crisis management and business continuity. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Emergency Services Coordinator at the Alameda County Sheriff's Office of Emergency Services, where they were responsible for planning and coordinating the county's emergency management program. Kristi also worked at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in various roles, including Emergency Planner, Disaster/Self-Help Program Coordinator, and Administrative Assistant. Additionally, they gained experience in recruitment and HR at Sun Valley Solar Solutions and office management at Sandia National Laboratories. Kristi began their career as a Special Programs Clerk at Tracy Unified School District, where they played a significant role in implementing new programs and maintaining district-wide systems.

Kristi Dueñas has a diverse education history that spans over several years. In 1995 to 1996, they attended the University of Alaska Anchorage, focusing on Early Childhood Education and Teaching. Following this, from 2001 to 2003, they attended San Joaquin Delta College, where they pursued a degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies, and Humanities. In 2013 to 2014, they briefly attended Las Positas College, specializing in Humanities and Humanistic Studies. Finally, from 2016 to 2020, they attended the University of Alaska Fairbanks, earning a Bachelor's degree in Homeland Security and Emergency Management with a field of study in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management.
