Oleksandr Soroka

Oleksandr Soroka, ACCA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in external reporting and compliance. Currently serving as Senior Manager of External Reporting at VEON since April 2012, responsibilities include external reporting to the SEC and AFM, compliance with SOX, financial controlling, and managing teams. Previously, Oleksandr held the position of Head of IFRS/US GAAP Reporting Department at Kyivstar from August 2007 to April 2012, overseeing external reporting, IFRS conversion, and M&A accounting, while managing a team of 10-15. Earlier experience includes auditing at Ernst and Young, focusing on IFRS and local financial statements and compliance processes. Oleksandr is an ACCA member and holds a Master’s degree in International Trade Management from Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics.
