Ruben Varela

Ruben Varela has over 20 years of experience in various roles within marketing operations and business systems. Ruben started their career at Unisys de Mexico, where they served as a Product Manager and Systems Marketing Coordinator. Ruben then worked at FTP Software as the Latin America Sales Manager and at NetManage as a Regional Manager. Ruben later joined Intelligent Connections Network Inc as a Sales/Marketing Manager, where they were responsible for corporate strategy and business planning. Ruben then moved on to CA Technologies as the Director of Marketing Operations, where they developed a marketing planning environment. Ruben also worked at Iron Mountain as the Director of Marketing Operations, and at Crestron Electronics as the Director of Global Business Infrastructure. Currently, Ruben is working at Veracode as the Vice President of Business Systems, overseeing technical aspects of marketing systems and interacting with Sales, Services, and the executive team. Throughout their career, Ruben has demonstrated expertise in leading teams, implementing systems, managing budgets, optimizing processes, and aligning marketing objectives with overall business goals.

Ruben Varela attended Tecnológico de Monterrey from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a LASCA degree in Computer Science. Ruben also attended Instituto Tecnologico de Estudios Superiores de from 1986 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business and Information Systems. In addition, they obtained the MSCE certification from Microsoft in 2001.
