Usman Samad

Usman Samad has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Usman started their career as a Technical Support Engineer at AdvancedVoIP, where they gained expertise in VoIP solutions, MySQL, and Linux. Usman then worked as a Technical Support Engineer at Netsolace for a short period.

In 2010, Usman joined Telenor as an Oracle supply chain consultant, where they were responsible for developing and analyzing change requests and conducting user acceptance testing. Usman later transitioned into the role of OBIEE Lead, leading the end-to-end implementation of OBIEE 11.1.1. Usman also served as a Service Manager Changepoint, overseeing IT processes and team management.

From 2019 to 2020, Usman worked as a Scrum Coach at EXCEED IT Services, providing guidance and coaching on agile practices.

Currently, Usman is serving as a Senior Scrum Master at Veraqor, where they are responsible for project budgeting, resource forecasting, and managing the client TCO for Chevron Kazakhstan.

From 2003 to 2008, they attended the University of Lahore and earned a Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication.

In 2010, they enrolled at Szabist and obtained a Master's degree in Project Management in 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Usman Samad also obtained several certifications. These include the ITIL V3 Foundation certification in January 2012, the PRINCE2® Foundation certificate in Project Management in November 2017, and various certificates in agile project management and software development obtained from different institutions like LinkedIn and Lynda.com in the years 2018 and 2019.
