Gary Borton

Gary Borton is an experienced engineering manager currently at Vercel since October 2021, bringing a strong background in software engineering from previous roles at Airbnb and Salesforce. At Airbnb, from November 2015 to July 2020, Gary contributed to the web infrastructure team, enhancing productivity and code quality by building an internal tool called "whatpack" and implementing an incremental code coverage mechanism that increased frontend code coverage from approximately 4% to 75%. Prior to Airbnb, Gary worked at Salesforce from October 2013 to September 2015 on the Journey Builder Email Activity and focused on improving development processes. Gary holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Ball State University, earned between 2007 and 2011.
