Jessica Loeper has over 17 years of experience in sustainability and environmental management. Jessica currently holds the position of Chief Operations Officer, ESG at Verdani Partners, where they provide comprehensive sustainability services and oversees a team of professionals. Prior to this, Jessica worked as the Vice President, ESG Corporate Sustainability at Verdani Partners, where they advised the president and managed various portfolio accounts. Jessica also has experience as the Director of Sustainability at CommonWealth Partners, where they developed and implemented sustainability programs for high-rise class A office towers. Jessica's background also includes roles as a Senior LEED Project Manager at Leonardo Academy, Inc., where they provided LEED consulting services, and as a City Planner at the City of Anaheim, where they worked on zoning and environmentally-sensitive construction policies.
Jessica Loeper obtained a Bachelor's degree in Social & Behavioral Sciences from California State University, Monterey Bay, which they attended from 2001 to 2004. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree at UC Irvine from 2004 to 2006. Jessica'sMaster's degree focused on Urban and Regional Planning, specializing in Urban Design & Behavior / Environmental Analysis.
In addition to their academic education, Jessica has obtained several certifications related to environmental sustainability and building design. In December 2008, they achieved the LEED AP O+M certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. Later, in January 2020, they became a Fitwel Ambassador certified by the Fitwel Certification System. Most recently, in December 2021, Jessica obtained the Eco Districts AP certification from EcoDistricts.
