Gareth Hayes

Gareth Hayes has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Gareth started their career in 1986 as a Group Leader at Orbitel Mobile Communications Ltd and later became a Group Manager at orbitel. In 2001, they joined Ericsson Mobile Communications as a System Group Manager, where they worked until 2004. From 2004 to 2006, Gareth served as a Program Manager at Symbian. Gareth then worked at O2 as the Head of Device Delivery from 2006 to 2008. In 2010, Gareth joined Meggitt Sensing Systems as the Chief Engineer, where they worked until 2018. From 2018 to 2020, they held the role of Engineering Director at Airspan Networks. Gareth is currently the Technical Director at Verdel Instruments, starting in February 2023. In addition to their professional experiences, Gareth has also served as a Trustee and Director at Orchard Learning Alliance since December 2014, contributing to the growth of the Multi-Academy Trust (MAT).

Gareth Hayes completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and Computer Science from Swansea University. Gareth attended the university from 1983 to 1986.
