Mark Hulsman

Mark Hulsman is an experienced privacy professional with a strong background in various municipal privacy roles. Currently serving as an Associate at Verdonck, Klooster & Associates since September 2018 and as the owner of Mark Hulsman Privacy Management Advies since October 2015, Mark has held multiple positions at Gemeente Rotterdam, including Privacy Officer for clusters focused on societal development and security, and has worked as a privacy advisor in both healthcare and safety domains. Notably, Mark contributed to the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG) in data science projects within the social sector while advising in various other municipal capacities. Mark's educational foundation includes a degree from Delft University of Technology.
