Mark Stephenson has a significant amount of experience in the oil and gas industry. Mark most recently worked as the Vice President of Geology at Verdun Oil Company, where they were responsible for evaluating exploration and development opportunities in the lower 48, with a focus on the Eagle Ford Shale in South Texas. Prior to that, they held the role of Manager New Ventures Geology at HILCORP ENERGY, where they evaluated the Eagle Ford Shale play and played a key role in the acquisition of 141,000 acres in the liquids-rich area.
