Donald Pols

Donald Pols is a seasoned professional in sustainability and climate policy with extensive leadership experience. Currently serving as the Director at Milieudefensie since December 2015, Donald previously held roles such as Senior Manager of the Global Sustainability group at the Energy Research Centre of the Netherlands, and Director of the Climate Program (ad interim) at WWF China. Donald's background also includes significant contributions as Programme Director for WWF International in China, Head of the Climate Program at UNFCCC, and Senior Policy Advisor for the Socialist Party of the Netherlands. Complementing a robust career, Donald holds advanced degrees in Environmental Management and Policy from the University of Amsterdam and a Master's degree in Culture and Science from Maastricht University.
