Madhurima Dhara has extensive experience in scientific research and pharmaceutical development. From 2021 to the present, they have worked at Verge Genomics, initially as a Scientist and currently as an Associate Principal Scientist. Prior to this, Madhurima worked at Janssen Inc. from 2018 to 2021, where they served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. Their work at Janssen focused on investigating mechanisms of CNS ion channel assembly, trafficking, and function for the treatment of CNS disorders. Madhurima Dhara holds a PhD in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology from Universität des Saarlandes, completed from 2011 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned their Master of Science in Physiology, Pathology, and Related Sciences from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, which they completed from 2008 to 2010. Their undergraduate studies were completed at Presidency University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Physiology, Pathology, and Related Sciences from 2005 to 2008.
