Michiel Twisk

Michiel Twisk is an accomplished professional in the life sciences sector, currently serving as an EIT Health Mentor since July 2022, and as Program Manager for Life Science Solutions at Verhaert Masters in Innovation since February 2021. At Verhaert, Michiel is responsible for operational and commercial growth within the Life Sciences program, overseeing strategic innovation projects and product development. Previous experience includes roles as Manager of Innovation Acceleration and Business Development Manager for Smart Medical & Health at Verhaert, and Account Manager at Formulatrix, where Michiel facilitated cutting-edge technologies for researchers. Earlier, Michiel worked as a Bioinstrumentation Development Engineer at The Technology Partnership plc (TTP). Academic credentials include a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology, supplemented by a Minor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and a Fulbright scholarship at Millersville University of Pennsylvania.
