Laura Bettor

Laura Bettor is a seasoned psychologist with extensive experience in providing psychotherapy, having worked at Deer Oaks Behavioral Health since December 2020 and Vericare since October 1999. At Vericare, Laura contributes to the mental health of residents in rehabilitation and long-term care facilities while also offering consultation to staff. Prior experience includes serving as a psychologist at Texas A&M University's Student Counseling Service, where Laura provided individual, couples, and group therapy and coordinated the group therapy program. Laura began professional training as a psychology intern at the University of California Santa Barbara. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology and a BA in Psychology and Sociology from Texas Tech University and The University of Texas at Austin, respectively.
